I miss my Baby G!

Kyle's mom took Gavin up to Washington state this morning (Friday) for the weekend (till Monday). It is Kyle's grandma's birthday, and she, and her husband were on a mission in Africa for 2 years, so they have never really got to meet Gavin...still I am a mess. They picked him up this morning at 4:15 and flew out at 6am. I cried when he drove away and pretty much cried myself to sleep. Kyle is gone for training until tonight, so two of my three men are gone. I am going to miss him much more then I thought I would! I forget how much he makes me crack up during the day! Parker is fun too, but he does not talk, so I am stuck talking, pretty much, to myself. I hope you all have fun with my baby, I sure will miss him. Please, please take care of him and bring him back home to his Mommy safe and sound!

The Little Gym

We have been taking Gavin to The Little Gym for the past month. We go every Tuesday night. He loves it! He is our little monkey. He is happiest running, jumping swinging and singing songs...everything we do at The Little Gym. It is his favorite place. All week he asks if he can go. So here are a few pictures and videos from last night.

This kid can swing! Miss Christina is so impressed. He can also bring his toes to the bar and do a basket hang. My little muscle man.
He used the "cheese" to walk his feet up to try to do a pull-over.
With Daddy on the balance beam.
Bubbles! Gavin loves bubbles.
Singing...
A back handspring over the "hot dog". Nice form Gav!
Running around for the warm-up! (out of order)
The parachute, so cool! He always runs to go under the parachute...goodness!
Under the chute.
Monkey Jumps! (it will help him do a cartwheel someday)

The Latest....

We had a picnic outside. It was so fun, the boys loved it. We all started out on the blanket, then off they went with their food in hand. Whatever!
Parker loved laying outside in the shade. He must have laid there for 30 minutes as happy as can be!
A little tree climbing too.
Parker took his FIRST BIG boy bath today. We included Gavin too, what was I thinking? No, just kidding, Parker only went down twice! He was fine. :)
Time for BIG boy toys!
A video of the boys and their first bath together. Sorry if it gets a little R rated, I tried to not film the family jewels, but kids are unpredictable!

Our SILLY Life!

My boys, I love saying that, crack me up! Everyday I get to be with them is amazing. Whenever I hear Gavin say, "Mommy" it truly makes me stop and pause, and think to myself...really?.....I am a mom, and more importantly, HIS Mom. What an honor! The other day, out of no where, he ran up to me and hugged me super tight and said, "I love you Mommy." And then ran away and continued to play. I don't know how I deserved that special moment, but it will forever be with me. And Parker is just an angel baby. He is so sweet and loving. He flashes that gorgeous smile at me and I just can not help but be happy! I can not believe my life. I am the luckiest women in the world! I have 2 beautiful, healthy boys and a husband who seriously can not keep his hands off me! How did I get so lucky? Sorry to bore you, but lately I have just felt to blessed in my life for all my blessing, both BIG and small! Here is the latest!

My big man. Already sitting up and drummin'
Oh, here comes BIG brother Gavin. He has to show Parker how to play it, and then take it from him! Oh. boys!
"Mom, please help me. Get this kid away from my drum!"
We got the boys Halloween costumes in the mail. And can you guess.....Gavin is going to be Batman, and Parker is going to be Robin. Gavin is wearing Robin's (Parker's) mask!
My sweet, little bi-polar child! He is so hot and cold. Whenever he pushes Parker he immediately runs over to him and kisses him. I don't know what to do with him half the time, but here is him being his 'sweet' self. He took his baby, who he named Keri doll, into the bath with him. I know Cabbage Patch Kids are not for the bath, but whatever it dried. He took this doll to the gym with him and even tried to feed it dinner. He talked to the baby like I talk to Parker, it was sooooooo sweet.
Here is the bath video with Keri doll and Gav. Sorry if you get a peek of his you know what!

Randoms...

Why does painting have to be such a MESS??!!!
...in his hair, and everywhere else. Look at those hands!
Attempting to rinse his hair without having to take a bath, well we took a bath!
Parker smiling! He will smile on a dime!
He LOVES his sippy! I think because it makes him feel like a BIG boy, like BIG Brother Gavin.

Gavin spinning super fast! Crazy kid!

Parker waking-up! He wakes up this happy everyday.

Parker Eating SOLIDS!

I decided to jump on the solid food train and start Parker on SOLIDS! Mostly because he has been getting up every three hours and I am sick of it! He is 5 and a half months old, and he is definitely not lacking in food (take a look at him), so he should be able to go all night. With this hope in mind I figured I would STUFF him and then put him to bed and let him cry it out. I can not be tired during the day anymore. Sorry Parker, time to man up! So here are a few pictures of our first solid attempt!

Waiting....
Gavin feeding him, so sweet. He is such a loving, awesome big brother. More and more he is really connecting with him...no more little brother who just lays there. Now that Parker is rolling over, sitting up, laughing and "talking" I think Gavin finally realized how fun this is going to be. And he is more and more being my little assistant. Thanks Gav!
"It's alright."
"More...come on..."
"Feet taste much better!"

Sorry my bog looks ghetto!

I am working on making it look really cute...so sorry it looks unfinished. It will be cute in the next day or so. I just have to find time!

My Kids Are the CUTEST...Admit it!

Gavin
Oh, my little Gavin is always making me crack-up! His new favorite thing is my high-heels, the fancier the better! In this picture he is wearing fancy shoes I received for my lingerie party before I got married from my sister. The are full of feathers and fun! Gavin wears them all around the house. A little cross-dressing? I know, but he is only 2...who cares! I think it is funny. Today I asked him if he wanted to wear Daddy's shoes instead of mine, and he said, "No, Mommy's shoes are more fun!" It's true! And I just tucked him in for his nap and he was commenting on  my valour sweatpants and said, "Mommy, you pants are so pretty, so soft, and purple....(long pause)....and PINK." He is so in tune to everything. I wore my hair curly the other day, and he said, "Mommy, I like your new hair." He is always calling me pretty and commenting on my clothes and jewelery! My kind of guy! I have trained him well. Maybe Daddy will pick up on it too, not the cross-dressing, but the complements!

Here he is!
Nice legs, huh? Just kidding!

Parker
Parker is my little sunshine! Whenever I look at him I can not help but smile! He is the sweetest baby! He just started sitting up this last week, and loves it. My little baby is growing up. He loves to be tickled, and especially loves my hair. He also loves to touch your face if you hold him. And when you talk to him is is super attentive. He will just look at you with those blue puppy dog eyes and hold your face, and attempt to reel you in for a face chew! Since he is chewing on everything (teething) I have been giving him a sippy cup, and he totally figured out how to use it. He holds both handles and brings it right up to his mouth. So coordinated! I just want him to sleep through the night. I am getting a little run down with all this every three hour business! I will be starting him on solids in the next week, maybe then he will stop waking me up in the middle of the night!

"Look at me!" (His shirt says 'love me forever')
"Wait....timber...!"

The Stats...

I took both kids to the doctor this week and this is what I found out...

Parker
Weight: 15 lb. 6 oz. (50%)
Head: 17.25 inches (75%)
Height: 26.75 inches (90%)

He is our little tank! He is happy as can be and he truly brings a smile to my face ever day! He is the most content baby...except for waking up 3 times during the night. I don't mind it too much, it is our special ALONE time together. I just nurse him and in 10 minutes he is asleep! He is super mellow and a mamma's boy! I love it (I know I sound possessive). He is the BEST!

Gavin
Weight: 24lb. 8 oz. (5%)
Head: 49 cm. (50%)
Height: 33.5 inches (25%)

Gavin on the other hand is our little string bean! He is in the 5th% for weight, and only 25th% for height. Kyle said he is going to be as small as I am, not so cute for a boy! But they do say, boys develop late!? I think this picture says it all...he is sitting in a Bumbo Chair, made for babies under 6 months! He is so small! I love it; I can still hold him for a long time and not strain my back! He is a crazy boy, nonstop. His metabolism is so high...no wonder he can't put on weight! He eats as much as I do!

Labor Day

For Labor Day we went to the beach...with everyone else. Well, it was not that bad. We did not even get there until 3:30...after naps and all, so the crowd was pretty much gone! It was super fun! We met my family down there in Cardiff. We played and Gavin attemped surfing...well, sort of, and enjoyed running through the water as well as belly flopping, he cracks me up! It was beautiful, warm and sunny, a perfect day! We ended the day at Pizza Port and then Golden Spoon, my kind of day.
