Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas full of family, presents and food! Perfect. We hope you all had a great holiday and enjoyed spending our Savior's Birthday with the ones you love!

Loving the warm fire...in his birthday suit...like usual!
Playing catch with Papa! Everyone came over to our house for breakfast and presents.
Riding his new truck from Auntie Jen and Uncle Will! He loves it, thanks!
Opening up his stocking! Happy as a clam.
Gavin opened each present so slowly. He looked at it, played with it then finally moved on to the next one. It took almost an hour and a half to finish opening all the gifts!

Gingerbread Cookies!

I found this super cool gingerbread cookie kit at Target. It is by Crayola and it includes: cookie mix, frosting, candy eyes, paintbrushes and edible paint. The boys loved it! It was really cute. They could paint their cookies however they wanted to.
The beginning!
Grandma Viv came over to play (help)!
Nice job Gavin. (We did not wait long enough for the frosting to completely harden, so they had to be super gentle)
Alright Cheese! Not so photogenic!

Parker, seriously the cutest!

Is he not the cutest thing ever?! He is my EXTREMELY happy baby. He is so content and joyful...crazy really! The minute you say his name he opens up his mouth with a HUGE grin! That is why in every picture he looks the same. So photogenic!
He is getting so big! (almost 9 months)

Two new chompers! He now has 4, 2 on  top and 2 on the bottom! He is breaking 2 more teeth now!
So as you can see, he is chewing on everything! Oh, I love him!

GAVIN IS POTTY TRAINED!

3 months later...Gavin finally realized going potty was way better than having a yucky, wet diaper! We have been wearing underwear instead of diapers when we are at home for quite a while now...with plenty of accidents! I was on the verge of giving up, until yesterday! I always take his diaper off and put his underwear on when he wakes up. So we did that and he said, "I HAVE TO GO POTTY!" So I said (while I was getting breakfast ready), "Ok go, I will be right there." Then I heard, "Mommy I went poop!" I was thinking, sure you did. Then I went into the bathroom and HE DID! After that he went pee, and he even went to the movie with my mom and stayed dry! Today he went poop and pee when he got up all be himself! Could this be really happening? Is Gavin really potty trained?! I am so excited. Every time he goes on the potty, I start shouting with excitement, and he looks at me like, what is the big deal? Oh, if he only knew!
I wanted to give him something for doing such a good job on the potty, so I rummaged through the Christmas gift box and found these Spiderman sippys I was going to put i n his stocking. So there you have it!
It came with 2, so Gavin said Parker needed one too! Good sharing!

(Very distracted, as usual...he loves his new sippy cup!)
