4th of July in S an Diego!

We woke up at 4:30am to pick up Kyle at the fire station at 5:00am to get to our 6:30am flight. We get to the airport, and our plane has a mechanical issue and is delayed until 12:30. Oh my gosh! 6 hours in the airport! The boys did awesome. We were plying stand by because we were using my moms passes and everyone else on the original flight were booked on other flights, but because we were flying stand by we could not take an earlier flight. :( It is 12:10 and I am wondering why the flight is not boarding. I go ask the gate agent, and low and behold she tells me they had no idea there were people on this flight. I told her we had tickets and she said we can just fly back by our selves and  the crew. So we were able to fly on the plane all by ourselves. We had great service and the boys could walk around the plane and be as loud as they wanted!
 Killing time in the airport.
 Boarding our "private jet"!
My little amigos! Kyle and I were craving real Mexican food, you know the dirty kind, Alberto's. :) I never would eat that when we lived in San Diego, but after living in Denver with no authentic Mexican food, Alberto's sounded fantastic!
 A chilly San Diego morning.
Cousins: Addison (6), Parker (4), Ava (3) and Gavin (5)
Sisters (+Ava) getting our workout in!
All 4 kids together, with their spouses and kids. So fun to all be together!
Addison and Cooper. Such a sweet helper.
Fun at the Carlsbad Palisades Timeshare.
Uncle Eddie and Auntie Alie with Coop.
 TWINS!
 Dad and his girls.
Grandma and Cooper, she is getting as much Cooper time as she can.
 Uncle Greggy with the boys!
Painting Ava's fingers and toes. Girl stuff!
Saying good bye to their cousins after a week of fun in the sun!

Backyard Camping!

Gavin has crazy teeth in and Parker has scary glasses on. They were trying to be scary to fight off all the "night monsters". Kyle and the boys loved camping in the backyard and reading scary stories and having yummy treats. Now the boys want to camp in the backyard every night. They sure are lucky to have their Daddy!

Chores, chores and more chores!

I finally did what I have been thinking about starting, a chore chart! It has been a life saver. The boys are so excited to complete a chore for a ticket, and then buy a prize out of the prize box with 10 tickets. All these boys needed was a little incentive and they are motivated.
Prize Box!
Uh Oh Basket....only Kyle's stuff seem to end up in there, go figure!
